Super bomb!!! Carne en su jugo is delicious! It is served with fresh homemade corn tortillas and a side of guacamole. If you want authentic Mexican food then you have to come here. The staff is friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Reasonably priced for large portions. They have so many delicious options on their menu that I had a hard time choosing. I definitely want to come back and try their tacos de barbacoa because they looked so yummy. The carne asada wet burrito was so tasty as it was lathered in salsa verde and topped with cheese. It was a huge portion!

Overall this place has it going on! Top notch tortas ahogadas. I dare say better and bigger than other spots where they lay claim to "the best" in town. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and hospitable. I tried their tacos de barbacoa, they are of the chain!! Great tasting flavors packing into two slightly crunchy hand made tortillas. Just like back in Mexico. This place serves beer and mechiladas, but I'll leave those for my next visit. I often have a hard time finding a good place that also serves menudo (tripe soup) and this place nailed it! Nothing about the food served there makes you think this place ain't legit. Sure the Vicente fernandez tracks playing can serve as a reminder of those late nights with a bottle of tequila and heavily intoxicated friends on those Saturday nights when the night didn't go as well as you'd hoped and you drink until the sun rises, but then again those times are THE BEST TIMES! Well I speak for myself on that one. Everyone's case is different. But I digress, top both food, menudo, pozole, tortas ahogadas, great tasting authentic Mexican food worthy of the claim, "estilo Jalisco"

Went with class today as a field trip 16 high school students plus adults and they accommodated us well. The many of the students had burgers/hot dogs/ fries. They loved it

The adults had meat quesadilla, taco De barbacoa, mulitas, asada tacos..very tasty. Plus they have a salsa bar with all the fixings. And soda station. Can't wait to try the mango- neada or the pina cucumber flavor....

Large selection of food items too!
Prices are decent as well.

Surprise! This is not your run of the mill 'Mexican' food..this is Guadalajara styled and is mucho yummy! Hubby and I both had the Tortas Ahogadas. Carnitas, topped with marinated onions and a tasty red sauce....Mmmm...perfection.

Spicy food is a must for me not with everything but when it comes to my Torta Ahogada YES!!! I started going to there original place in South L.A then to the one in HP but since I work in the city of Paramount this location is more convenient for me. I love a lot of things in their menu the Chilaquieles are delicious the tortas ahogadas BOMB!! & the tacos de barbacoa are on the top 3 things I love from Pika Torta!

The Barbacoa alone is worth 4 stars! The menudo was ok but the tacos de Barbacoa were pretty tasty! We were lucky to get a table on a Sunday morning so a to go order is best for the weekends. Cash is highly recommended. It needs a bit of a facelift and could stand to be a little cleaner at times but we did go on a busy morning.

First of all I want to say that soon as u walk in this place they greet u with great customer service. It was my first time here didn't know what to order and they were helpful on explaining the food choices to me I ordered the Tacos Dorados con carne they were good and my boyfriend ordered the Torta Ahogada with the Tacos combination great choice. Overall food great. Clean place and very friendly and attentive to everybody.

Really good homemade food at reasonal prices. Will be back next weekend. Natural juices are the best!

I'm jaliciense so you know I had to come try these authentic tortas ahogadas, and dam there good!!! Really authentic with the spicy hot sauce that there dipped in!!! The tacos dorados are also a must!!! Also I tried the tacos de barbacoa!!! Dude they tasted like those tacos de Birria we would eat early in the morning when I was a kid in TJ!!! They do need to work on the sides though, the beans weren't good, tasted fishy ,and rice was bland. If they perfect those sides I would give 5 stars (there bathrooms are clean too) I come here on a regular so I recommend it!

Reached out to Pika Tortas to cater a small gathering at my house for NYE on very short notice. Not only were they extremely accommodating but the barbacoa was A+++ AMAZING!!! Will definitely be coming back to try other items on their menu and will absolutely refer my family and friends. Thanks again.

So this place gets a 4 star review for tortas alone. I've searched for a great torta ahogada and I have found it!

Their food is really good! I order from there all the time for our business. We really like their grilled chicken plate with rice, beans and Guacamole!

Came in before heading to a soccer game. Customer service and food was amazing! Felt like home with the corridos playing in the background

Tortas ahogada was the best I've had. The reason for the four stars is because the sopes were not all that. The place could do something about cleanliness.

The food is very good, great Mexican cultural environment, amazing cooks who truly care about customer satisfaction. We'll definitely drive another half hour to come here again.

My favorite place for Sunday breakfast with family! we are there every weekend...
the Cashier and the cooks are always friendly and making sure you are ok with everything. Let me tell you that the customer service they provide makes you feel welcomed. I have recommended this place to family and friends, they are now also frequent customers here...

They're bigger than I thought and ended up eating 2/3 tacos I ordered.

The Tortas ahogadas look pretty good and big, but I didn't have one this time around.
They have a little sauce bar for the food.

Also, they don't have public bathrooms; I'm not sure if it's okay for customers though.

So today I decided to stop by for brunch at Pika, I was in the area so I thought why not. This was my first time being here and I had such a great experience. The people working there are really nice and attentive, they made sure I was taken care of. I ordered tacos de barbacoa and oh my gosh they were sooo good! BEST barbacoa ever!!! :D So if you're looking for a great place to eat and want a taste of authentic food from Mexico, go here. P.S they have cable you can watch the fights here and have a few drinks with friends :p

I happened to be around the neighbor as I craved a torta. I found this place on Yelp and like the fatty I am, I went straight to the pictures.
So I went to pika tortas and ordered a torta ahogada combo de carnitas, which come with 2 tacos and a drink. You get to choose your sauce, I went for mild. The torta was nice and juicy, just looking at it but once I bit into it...it was delicious! They are generous with the meat, the meat to bread ratio is good!! The sauce is savory *mouth begins to water*. The tacos were good, but I was only able to finish one taco, the torta was extremely filling. All and all, I definitely recommend this place. Great food!!

This restaurant is a gem. The food is not only great but authentic too. Ive had the Tortas Ahogadas and having roots in Guadalajara, they bring back memories. I've also had the tacos de Barbacoa and they're delicious. Oh and they have great prices too! Must try.

This place is great ! I haven't eaten there but I have gotten take out and it's great and the frozen treats are delicious! Especially the strawberry popsicle !! Love it

Simply great everything about the food was on point. I was impressed since I've been to other restaurants in the area and they really lacked on flavor or how fresh the food tasted. I could tell by the flavor of the food it was just cooked and not reheated like other restaurants. I really enjoyed it I will be catering from the place soon.

This place so authentic, the food is amazing. I tried the torta ahogada and it was amazing, the salsa was spicy in a real good way, the bread was great too. I have gone back several times and never dissapointed. I actually appreciate the service too, I was a little new to the tortas but the cashier took their time to go over the ingredients. I really appreciated that they went over the menu ingredients because I'm kina picky with my food. They also told me I could order ahead of time wich is nice because my lunch is always short with time. This place is so good that I convinced my coworkers to order lunch today so I can't wait for them to all try this food.

If you like chili in your food then ask for the spicy salsa. Tacos dorados de frijoles or papa are a great compliment to the spicy torta. Im not finished... The carne en su jugo will make you want to keep reordering. I liked it so much i ordered for a party of 10.

Delicious food and great service. I've had the tortas ahogadas, tacos de barbacoa, tacos de canasta, carne en su jugo, etc. Any plate I order is always delicious. Their micheladas are the best I've had, which is surprising, as I wasn't even aware they offered them. I will keep coming back for sure. And did you know that they cater? I can't wait to book them for my next party at home.

I love the tortas ahogadas from here. The meat is very favorable and super delish. The buche tacos are very good and my son loves their strawberry milk shake. Each time I am in town I stop by for some tortas ahogadas with fried potato tacos, yumm!

Our favorite place to come and eat authentic Mexican food Guadalajara style. My wife's favorite is the Carne en su jugo, which is to die for. I usually get a torta ahogada, which is also delicious. Today im having the pollo a la braza and my mouth is just watering. Great place!

We tried this place for the first time yesterday, on a whim, and were not disappointed. The food was good, they had something for everybody as one of my kids can be kind of picky; and the Palomas hit the spot. Going out to eat with 4 kids is stressful enough so a drink was necessary. Aside from the food being good, the service was awesome! The girl at the counter was very friendly and answered our questions without an attitude. Will definitely be back again.

They were made right there in front of us. There wasn't a stash hidden under a light or anything. We also ordered a torta de asada but after tasting the tacos, nothing else tasted good!

My sister loves tortas ahogadas, and she's always exploring and founding different places to eat, today Pika tortas ahogadas was the one to trying out... I ordered a menudo, which it was ok and tacos de canasta which they were better than the menudo, my sister ordered barbacoa tacos, not good honestly if you'd ever tried the real Guadalajara style barbacoa... the horchata isn't bad, but isn't natural, my chocomilk was good.
We ordered to go food, tortas ahogadas Guadalajara style, which supposed, is the best, green chilaquiles and licuados (choco-banana, and strawberries) and a tejuino.
So, I'll see later how the tortas ahogadas are!!!
